Under the Tree is a painting inspired by my need for serenity and peace. During all my health issues in early 2026, I was angry and frustrated. My recovery was extremely slow. Nothing was going as planned and I was not happy about it.

The only thing that dissolved my frustration was gratefulness. Shifting into a lense of gratefulness changed my life. I started seeing things from an entirely different point of view. I began to have joy in the little things in life, stopped worrying about the big things, and gave my anxieties and frustrations to the Lord.

This piece is a simple reminder that gratefulness can change your outlook on life. The sunshine around the tree is a symbol of what the Lord can bring to your life, peace.

Under the Tree: Original Painting is a 24x36 framed oil on canvas. It is a painting in our wildflower series.
