( Q ) What is a Commission?

( A ) Contact Christina for more info!  -  A commission is an artwork that is created for a particular person. It has no rules or limitations to how it can look or feel.

Christina loves to do commissions and create something special
and unique for her collectors!

If you are considering a Christina Alford commission, her an email! She would love to answer any and all questions you may have!

( Q ) Do you do comissions?

( A ) Contact me for more info!  -  Yes! I do several commissions a year!

If you would like a commission or would like to discuss the possibility of a commission, please send me an email, and I would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have!

( Q ) How long does it take for a commission to be finished?

( A ) click here to contact Christina!  -  This depends greatly on the size, oil paint, and weather.

Depending upon the waiting list, it can take 3 weeks to 6 months. Once it is dry, the commissioner can decide if she would like an in person pickup or for the item to be shipped.

If you have questions about your specific commission, or if you would like to purchase a commission from Christina Alford, please hit the contact button and write her an email! She will be happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

( Q ) How much does a commission cost?

( A ) Contact Christina for more info!  -  The cost of a commission depends greatly on the size of the oil painting.

( Q ) I would like to purchase a commission for Christmas, when is the cutoff date?

( A ) Contact Christina for more info!  -  To ensure that your Christmas commission comes in on time, I am cutting off all commission for Christmas on November 1st. After November 1st, I can no longer guarantee that your commission will be ready and dry for you and your loved ones.

I absolutely love going to and participating in art shows! It is one of my favorite parts about my art process!!!!! I love getting to meet people and tell them my story!

( A ) Contact Christina for more info!  -  Any and all original oil paintings will not be discounted; however, some workshop events and shipping rates may/may not be discounted based upon situation.

( Q ) Do you offer local pickups?

( A ) contact Christina!  -  Yes! We offer free local pickup for those who don't want to pay for shipping fees.

I occasionally offer workshops for parties, groups, or people who would like a relaxing and fun afternoon.

If you or someone you know would like to host a workshop for themselves and a group of friends, please let me know!

For any and all workshops, there must be a minimum of 5 people to participate.

( Q ) Can I host a workshop?

( A ) Contact Christina for more info!  -  Yes, you can!!!!!

A workshop host/hostess provides a space for the workshop and has a group/collection of people ready to take the workshop.

For hosted/specialized workshops, we put a minimum occupancy on 5 people per workshop.

( Q ) How long have you been an artist?

( A ) My Story!  -  I have been creating art for all of my life; however, I didn't become an artist and begin to use my favorite medium, oils, until I was 15 years old.

I am currently 19 years old, and I have been an artist for 4 years.

( Q ) What is your preferred medium?

( A ) Visit my newest collection: The Mississippi Collection  -  For almost 90% of my paintings, I use oils. Oils are my absolute favorite to use because you can't recreate the effects that it gives you in any other medium.

I also occasionally use acrylics for some of my colorful paintings.
