( Q ) How do I pay for a commission?

( A ) Contact me to get started on a commission! - I require a minimum of a 20% deposit on all commissions. All deposits are non refundable, however; if no time or resources have been allocated to the commission, a deposit can be turned into credit that can be used on any future commission or current products on Christina Alford Collection's website.

After the painting is completed, the remainder of the painting balance is due. We accept Paypal, Venmo, and Card.

( Q ) How long does it take for a commission to be finished?

( A ) click here to contact Christina! - This depends greatly on the size, oil paint, and weather.

Depending upon the waiting list, it can take 3 weeks to 6 months. Once it is dry, the commissioner can decide if she would like an in person pickup or for the item to be shipped.

( Q ) How much does a commission cost?

( A ) Contact Christina for more info! - The cost of a commission depends greatly on the size of the oil painting.

( Q ) I would like to purchase a commission for Christmas, when is the cutoff date?

( A ) Contact Christina for more info! - To ensure that your Christmas commission comes in on time, I am cutting off all commission for Christmas on November 1st. After November 1st, I can no longer guarantee that your commission will be ready and dry for you and your loved ones.

A workshop host/hostess provides a space for the workshop and has a group/collection of people ready to take the workshop.

For hosted/specialized workshops, we put a minimum occupancy on 5 people per workshop.

( Q ) How long have you been an artist?

( A ) My Story! - I have been creating art for all of my life; however, I didn't become an artist and begin to use my favorite medium, oils, until I was 15 years old.

I am currently 19 years old, and I have been an artist for 4 years.

( Q ) What is your preferred medium?

( A ) Visit my newest collection: The Mississippi Collection - For almost 90% of my paintings, I use oils. Oils are my absolute favorite to use because you can't recreate the effects that it gives you in any other medium.

I also occasionally use acrylics for some of my colorful paintings.
